After reading the other reviews of this book, I was highly disappointed when I finally got it. I felt the information was sketchy, and, while she provides endless case studies, she does not make a clear, smooth transition as to how to apply those case studies to your own, or someone else's, chart. While it was interesting to read the case studies, I was looking for information to help me in my own personal search and spiritual growth. Especially for the price of this book, I did not feel it was a value.Product details

I got the book, but the book was damaged. It looked like the person who put the book into the envolope, did it too fast and without thinking. So a large corner and 10 pages are bended
Big fan of Patricia Walsh work. Reading her material is easily understood.
This is a must read for any astrology student/astrologer who is also interested in past lives and reincarnation. Walsh presents case studies of hundreds of people who have been regressed and then shows how archetypes in their birth charts back up what they recall. Past live memories support the astrology and the astrology supports the past life memories. This book takes both astrology and past life regression to another level as it marries the two and focuses on healing and resolving present life traumas created in the distant past. Even if you don't understand the astrology involved, the case studies alone are fascinating.
Some of this information was very new to me and I did send a email with some questions to the author and she was kind enough to respond and her response was very helpful for my situation. Recommended and very interesting.
Definitely an excellent book, especially for Evolutionary Astrologers who are also interested in Past Life Regression. Patricia Walsh’s synthesis of Jeffrey Wolf Green’s Evolutionary Astrology and the late Oxford-trained therapist, regressionist and psychologist, Roger Woolger’s Deep Memory Process as a combined tool for past life regression is brilliant. Absolutely highly recommended for astrologers who wish to combine past life regression therapy with their own astrological counseling.
Karmic complexes arrived a couple days ago and I am devouring it! What I like about it is the fact that each archetype is explored from the point of view of the various circumstances that can be associated with each archetype when they are involved in the evolutionary signatures of a chart. I find it very comprehensive and well thought out- the topics for each archetype are helping me emotionally integrate the astrological archetypes so much more as well as maturing my understanding of the soul itself, and how the process of evolution actually occurs from life to life.
I feel this book is truly unique and the only of it's kind- so far. It offers a depth of philosophical insight into the nature of the soul and evolution- through ACTUAL EXPERIENCE. Walsh does a really good job at exploring the essence of the archetype as well as the various, real life ways in which the essence can manifest itself. What's cool is that the examples given span a long period of time and manifest in such varied conditions- so it really gives a broad and expansive perspective of a singular archetype.
I recommend this book for any serious student of astrology and the soul, or anyone who practices any kind of counseling that addresses the deeper, spiritual roots behind everything. Very grateful for this book. I also feel that this book may be a pioneer in bridging two fields in a truly professional, well researched, well documented way. These two feilds are "Evolutionary astrology" (or astrology that operates from the level of soul) and regression therapy. Both are up and coming fields on their own, so it's exciting to see the two working together in such a way.

I agree with the reviewers who say this is a pioneering work, for there is nothing of its kind anywhere on the planet. The author works with past life regression therapy and evolutionary astrology so that she has been able to present real clients with the past life stories that were therapeutic to this life and then correlate those stories to the natal birth charts.
She found patterns of experiences that fit with the different houses/signs of the zodiac and presents her findings in this book, and does so with a comprehensive understanding of many spiritual traditions, from shamanic in pre-patriarchal times to the great religions of history. She presents this with appealing clarity so that her process is no mystery even though the subject matter is famously mysterious to us earthlings in general.
Her work will certainly be helpful to my own clients in astrology and though I am a graduate of the same school, I do not personally know the author.
Her niche is all her own. No one else has done this. And her mentors express their sincere appreciation in both forwards, from Roger Woolger and from Jeffrey Wolf Green.
A work of genius, courage and compassion. A very great offering to help people heal the imprints that hold them back.
O, did I say I recommend it? It is so readable that one need not be a regression therapist nor astrologer to sit spellbound, story to planet to lifetime to healing. A wonderful work.
